The successful candidate will be required to work weekends and bank holidays, attend callouts and will work a four-on, four-off shift pattern.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day running of the CHP plant
- Proactive attitude and commitment to health and safety
- Undertaking scheduled maintenance and repair of equipment
- Sampling and loading of feedstock
- Monitoring and responding to out-of-hours alarms on a rotational basis including on weekends
- Monitoring of plant control system (SCADA)
- Completing daily checks, log books and records
- Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues by adhering to company H&S policies and procedures
- Other duties as required by your line manager
Person specification:
- Practical and hands-on, with mechanical experience
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong IT skills
- Professional manner and effective communication skills
- Proactive and flexible approach to work
- Willing to take responsibility and ownership of tasks
- Ability to work under own initiative but also as part of a multifunctional team
