Inspiring the future of farming

At Dyson Farming, we believe that sharing the story of British farming – how food nourishes us, how land is cared for, and how innovation supports a healthier environment – has the power to inspire curiosity, understanding and ambition. By bringing people together through events and extending our reach through open, accessible online resources, we share what we do with transparency and pride. It’s about investing in future farmers and informed consumers alike, encouraging deeper connections with food, nature and the role farming plays in shaping a more sustainable future.

Open Farm Sunday

Open Farm Sunday is an opportunity to step inside Dyson Farming and discover how food is produced at scale, with care for the land, wildlife and future generations. As part of this national initiative, we open our farms to the public to share how modern farming blends innovation, engineering and environmental stewardship to produce food responsibly.

Through guided activities, demonstrations and conversations with the people who farm the land, Open Farm Sunday brings learning to life – from how crops are grown and soils are protected, to how water, energy and technology are carefully managed across the farmed environment.

Education sits at the heart of Open Farm Sunday at Dyson Farming. The day offers a chance to ask questions, see behind the scenes, and better understand the role farming plays in food security, nature recovery and climate resilience. It’s about building connections between people and the land – and inspiring future generations to think differently about farming, science and sustainability.
