James Dyson
on farming & technology

Farming is not a cottage-industry, or something quaint and nostalgic; efficient, high-technology agriculture holds many of the keys to our future. Sustainable food production and food security are vital to the nation’s health and the nation’s economy, whilst there is also a real opportunity for agriculture to drive a revolution in technology and vice versa.

Strawberry production

The latest addition to Dyson Farming’s circular farming system is our new 15-acre glasshouse in Carrington, Lincolnshire. It supports the advancement of high-tech, sustainable farming in the UK, producing super-sweet strawberries and replacing imports by extending the British growing season.

The Dyson Farming philosophy

Farming the Dyson way

Producing high-quality food and farmed produce

By growing crops and rearing livestock in a way that’s sensitive to the needs of the land, we can be confident in both the integrity and the quality of our produce.

Our farming practices have been designed to protect and improve animal wellbeing and to look after the environment.
