Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine

Fill the clear water tank with fresh drinking water. Turn the machine on by pushing the button on the top of the machine. The red light will blink whilst the machine is heating up. When it is green, and no longer flashing the machine is ready.

Place a cup of sufficient capacity under the coffee outlet.

Open the machine head, this will release the capsule holder.

Inset the capsule with the dome face facing down and push the lever down to close the machine head. Push the button to star the brewing.

Dishwasher

When the left-hand button is pushed in, the dishwasher is on.

Use the programme button to select a wash type. It is selected when the red light is next to the programme.

Place a dish washer tablet in the main dishwasher detergent dispenser and close it.

Make sure that all the items you are going to wash are dishwasher safe.

Close the dishwasher door and the machine will start.

When finished the dishwasher will beep.

Hob and Extractor Fan

To use the extractor, press the strength of extraction you need, 1 being the weakest and 3 being the strongest. The light can also be turned on. To turn everything off press the off button.

To use the hob. Use the ON/OFF button to turn the hob on. Select which ring you would by pressing on the surface of the hob. You will then be able to turn the strength up and down from 0-9. To turn the ring off set it to 0. If you want to turn the whole hob off use the ON/OFF button.

The Dyson V11 Vacuum is hug on its charging block on the wall in the utility room.

To Use:

Remove the Dyson from the charging block. Pull the trigger on the handle to start the suction. There are three settings of Max, Medium and Low. This can be changed by using the sliding button on the body of the Dyson.

To Remove Parts:

Push in the red buttons and pull the parts away from the main body of the Dyson. To add parts (different heads are kept in the cupboards in the utility room) push the red button and push the parts towards the body of the Dyson.

To Empty:

Take off any parts that are attached to the main body of the Dyson. Make sure not to pull the trigger and to do into the bin. Push the red leaver under the handle downwards. This will release the waste in the Dyson. Lift the side that had been released and click it back in place.

Microwave

Turn on the appliance.

Place the food in a container suitable for use with microwaves and put it onto the glass plate.

Press ‘POWER’ to select one of the five cooking powers (100% = high 20% = low)

Turn the ‘TIME/MENU’ knob anti clockwise to set the time

The ‘START’ symbol will flash and the ‘1s’ will light up.

To start cooking, press the ‘TIME/MENU’ knob. The microwave oven will now start to cook.

When the food has finished cooking the oven will beep 4 times to let you know and the word ‘END’ will be displayed.

Washer/Dryer

Washing Only

The ON/OFF button is on the top right of the machines face.

Use the right side of the dial to select the programme required (main wash, rinse, spin, end) and temperature selection (60°C, 40°C, 30°C, and cold water)

Put a pod into the wash or add detergent to the detergent drawer.

Press SELECT OPTION AND DRYING LEVEL together to activate/deactivate CHILD LOCK.

Press START/PAUSE to start the dryer, press this same button to stop the dryer.

Drying Only

The ON/OFF button is on the top right of the machines face.

Use the left side of the dial to select one of the bottom two programmes.

Press SELECT OPTION AND DRYING LEVEL together to activate/deactivate CHILD LOCK.

INTENSITY selects the heat setting.

Press START/PAUSE to start the dryer, press this same button to stop the dryer.

Washing and Drying

The ON/OFF button is on the top right of the machines face.

Use the left side of the dial to select ‘WASH&DRY’ COTTON or QUICK.

Put a pod into the wash or add detergent to the detergent drawer.

Press SELECT OPTION AND DRYING LEVEL together to activate/deactivate CHILD LOCK.

Press START/PAUSE to start the dryer, press this same button to stop the dryer.
