CPD training for teachers
We are hosting a CPD opportunity at our Nocton farm on 24 June, giving you the tools to bring real-life examples to the curriculum. The evening will be led by LEAF who will explore food, farming and natural environment through the new Dyson Farming curriculum linked resources.
For local schools, this CPD session will give you the opportunity to become familiar with the farm and explore the possibility of future school visits to our new education area.
Come along to meet the LEAF team, develop your knowledge, network with other teachers and take a tour of the farm.
What to expect
- A guided tour of the Nocton farm with the Dyson Farming team
- Understand the newly developed Dyson Farming resources and their links to the curriculum
- Explore the Education Centre and become familiar with the site
- Experience and learn about practices on the farm including sustainable initiatives, benefitting the soil and surrounding environment
- Share your thoughts and experiences with the group during this networking opportunity
- Applicable for a visit to the farm within 6 months of CPD qualification
