Summer Series FAQs

Summer Series is a work experience week giving young individuals from a range of backgrounds the opportunity to gain an in-depth insight into Dyson Farming.

During the week, time is spent with experts from the business in a broad variety of areas such as energy, food production, property, research, technology, finance, HR, environment, agriculture and more. During the week there will be time designated to work on the set project task which will then be presented to a panel on the final day. This is an opportunity to truly show your skills and put into practice the learning undertaken during the week.

We caught up with Amy from the 2023 Summer Series to share her experiences.

What do you gain from the Summer Series?

The Summer Series allows you to develop your understanding and knowledge from industry experts, discuss career paths, network and add the opportunity as experience on your CV.

Is it suitable for me?

Applications are open to anyone over 18 including school leavers, university or apprenticeship students. The main thing is that you are passionate in industries such as agriculture, technology, food production, sustainable energy and business.

How do I apply?

You can apply via the Dyson Farming website. Make a note of the deadline so you donโ€™t miss the opportunity.

Easter egg hunt 2025

The Easter Bunny is hiding eight eggs near Nocton Cricket Club for the ultimate hunt.

Eight eggs with a fun challenge, from Nocton Cricket Club up towards the Estate Office. Each egg, poses its own question on the back, answer these along the way to find out the secret message that he has left for you. Find out what he has to say by figuring out the answers.

Complete the sheet as you go and walk along the bridlepath until you spot the blue gazebo. At the end, for your efforts, he has left a prize for you in the gazebo along with other easter related activities to get involved with.

The easter trail is open to everyone and there is no need to book a space! Just come along, enjoy a lovely peaceful stroll and a lovely little educational activity.

This is a self-guided event, starting at Nocton Cricket Club and ending at the end of the Grotto.

The bridleway is accessible on foot, bike or scooter and is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.

This is a working farm โ€“ please be cautious of heavy machinery moving around the estate.

Wear suitable clothing.

Bring along a pen/pencil with you to fill in your worksheet.

The Easter Bunny has hidden eight eggs along the Bridleway in Nocton. Collect the answers along the way to crack our Easter code.

Fill in your answer sheet and pop in to The Estate Office to receive an Easter surprise.

The perfect excuse for to enjoy the countryside this spring.

Easter egg hunt 2023

The Easter Bunny has a hole in his bag. He’s dropped nine eggs across our Nocton Estate, and we need your help to find them.

Collect the clues to find out our bunny’s name and when you’ve cracked the answer, hand your sheet in at The Estate Office to receive an Easter surprise.

The perfect activity for your Easter break, the Easter egg hunt is open from Monday 3 to Thursday 6 April, 10 am โ€“ 4 pm. Parking is available free of charge at Nocton Cricket Club, The Bridleway, LN4 2FH.
