Visiting the farm
Visiting the farm
Dyson Farming regularly welcome group visits to the farm for the purposes of education and knowledge sharing. Visits to the farm can take place throughout the year at any of our locations and are tailored to the specific needs and interests of the group.
We can host farmer & livery company groups, corporate away days, and any other special interest groups of any size from 10 to 120 people. In most cases, visits will incur a small charge to cover the cost of hosting the day.
For schools and children’s activity groups, we have CEVAS trained, fully DBS checked staff that can offer curriculum-linked educational visits for all key stages centered around farming and food production, livestock, land management, renewable energy, resource protection and environmental conservation. Education visits are free and we may be able to help the group secure funding for transport to the farm.
As a working farm it is impossible to fulfil the number of visit requests that we receive. We have a set number of sessions allocated each year to host external visits and ask that any applications are made through our online form.
Please provide as much detail as you can in the ‘reason for visit’ box opposite as visit requests that come from local groups with a genuine interest in our business and the industry will be given priority. Visit applications are considered once a quarter and at this point all requests will be responded to. If you are successful, we will contact you with a choice of itineraries for that season (if applicable) and the available tour dates.
